Description
Start Date: August 26, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend requirement includes Friday and Saturday; possible on-call duties
Highlights:
- Level III or Level IV NICU environment with complex case mix
- Hands-on experience with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) cases, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement
- EPIC electronic medical record system in use
- Professional practice model focused on coordinated patient care and evidence-based nursing processes
- Opportunity to work with critically ill neonatal populations requiring advanced nursing interventions
- Collaborative health care team environment supporting quality outcomes and patient safety
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or Compact State RN license
- Minimum 2 years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in HIE management, surfactant administration, and PICC line insertion
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Two supervisory references from within the last year
- Completion of NICU-specific skills checklist
