Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules; typically every other weekend; patient ratio 1:5-6 during the week, 1:6 on weekends; 32-bed unit

Highlights:

• Progressive Care / Overflow IMCU unit managing cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and post-procedural patients
• Diverse case mix including arrhythmia management, CHF, cardioversion, chest pain, DKA, post-cardiac cath care, and general medical-surgical overflow
• Epic EMR system (preferred), Pyxis medication dispensing, SBAR communication protocols
• Strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, and transportation
• Comprehensive orientation with non-billable hours based on contract length; telemetry competency exam required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; floating within scope of practice as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• HARD STOP: Demonstrated experience managing continuous IV medications including cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips
• Proficiency in TR Band application, arrhythmia interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI patient care
• Experience with telemetry, central line management, blood product administration, and medical-surgical nursing skills
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to avoid delay
