Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical – Kansas

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Every other weekend rotation. Holiday rotation shared with staff.

Highlights:

• Night shift position on a Medical/Surgical unit with varied case mix including general medical, surgical, and occasional pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 4:1 to 5:1, allowing for quality patient care
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Minimal orientation period of 1-2 days for experienced nurses
• Opportunity to utilize infusion therapy skills as needed
• Potential for blocked scheduling (three consecutive shifts)

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or Multistate RN license required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• General medical and surgical nursing knowledge
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system preferred
• Willingness to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
