Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), rotating every 4 weeks between day and night shifts (4 weeks days/4 weeks nights), every other weekend required, no on-call

Highlights:

• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 ensuring optimal patient care delivery
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized facility-wide
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Specialized patient population including multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, and renal failure
• Advanced equipment experience with NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors and ventilators
• Travel nursing assignment with potential for up to two pre-approved time-off periods

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU nursing experience required
• Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
• EPIC documentation system experience required
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management
• Experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6+ months; current employees are ineligible
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
