Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; flexibility for floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; orientation provided with assignment length-based non-billable hours

Highlights:

• 24-bed intensive care unit with average daily census of 19 patients
• Patient ratio typically 1:2, with potential for 1:3 assignment based on unit needs
• Complex case mix including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, cardiogenic shock, liver failure, ESRD on CRRT, and more
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Advanced equipment experience including cardiac monitoring, FloTrac, IABP, artic sun, and BIS monitoring

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required prior to start date
• Demonstrated competency in ventilator management, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, CVA/stroke management, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Experience with CVVHD/CRRT, post-cardiac surgery care, post-neurosurgery management, and advanced airway suctioning techniques
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start; delays may result in orientation schedule adjustments
• Commitment to work assigned holidays per facility policy (major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
