Description
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
Highlights:

Requirements:
- Active RN License in Texas or compact state
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC C-EFM required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in perinatal or related nursing specialty preferred
- Recent practice in a perinatal setting or completion of Perinatal RN Residency preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients
- Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care according to ANA Standards of Practice
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
- Participate in all required competency verifications and continuing education
