# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 7, 2026 **Location:** Corpus Christi, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day or night shift available; 12-hour shifts with shift huddles at 7am and 7pm

Highlights:

• 16-bed emergency department with hall chairs serving ESI levels 1-5, typical patient ratio 1:4 for low acuity patients
• Collaborative team environment with 6-7 staff members per shift including charge nurse, triage nurse, and support staff
• Facility transitioning from Level IV to Level II trauma hospital designation
• Meditech EMR system with integrated vital signs documentation
• Strong focus on patient satisfaction and timely care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Level II or Level III trauma experience required
• EMTALA training completion (provided upon hire)
• Minimum two years of emergency department experience preferred
• CEN, TCRN, or CPI certification preferred
