Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Surgery Trauma) – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Assigned shifts (block schedules not available). 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary support during night shifts.

Highlights:

• High acuity surgery trauma floor serving a complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma, gunshot wounds, and patients with spinal cord injuries (quadriplegic and paraplegic)
• Collaborative care environment with nursing support techs, dedicated phlebotomists, and unit secretary coverage
• Structured handoff process with ED and admitting unit nurses to ensure continuity of care
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized
• No requested time off (RTO) during assignment period
• Contract start date of September 2026

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or multistate compact licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical trauma or high acuity medical-surgical nursing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled
