Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in orthopedic and neurosurgical patient populations including total joint replacements and spinal surgery
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• First-time travelers accepted with managerial review; minimum 1 year of experience required
• Float opportunities within the healthcare system to expand clinical skills and experience
• Advanced clinical skill set including cardiac and vasoactive drip management, central line care, arterial line management, and telemetry monitoring
• Weekend coverage required as part of rotation

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in acute care setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 from manager, director, or formal leadership position
• Willingness to float within the healthcare system as needed
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
