# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum – TexasStart Date: July 28, 2026
Location: Arlington, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 32-bed operational unit; 1:3 couplet ratio (varies based on unit mix); no on-call requirementHighlights:

• Comprehensive postpartum and newborn care including couplet care, breastfeeding support, newborn screenings, and feeding assistance
• EMR systems include Meditech and CPN
• Floating to antepartum for postpartum overflow and labor and delivery recoveries as needed
• Collaborative environment working closely with OB, pediatricians, and lactation specialists
• Flexible scheduling with opportunities for extra shifts
• Supportive team with mix of experienced and newer nurses in a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Couplet care competencies required
• Breastfeeding support experience required
• Mother baby charge experience preferred
• Late-preterm or transitional newborn experience preferred
• Experience with typical postpartum procedures: newborn screenings, blood glucose monitoring, jaundice monitoring, perineal and incision care
