Description
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, every other weekend, call coverage required
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a progressive care unit with telemetry monitoring
- Progressive care/stepdown unit specializing in high-acuity patient care
- Electronic medical record system utilized for documentation
- Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements
- Professional dress code with royal blue scrubs for RN staff
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in progressive care or stepdown units
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Experience with Meditech EMR strongly preferred
- PCU/Stepdown experience highly preferred
