Description
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Northern Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time contract position with 10-hour shifts, 6:45am-5:15pm (non-consecutive working days with random day off Monday-Friday). On-call requirements include one weeknight per week (7pm-11pm) and one weekend per month, rotating between day shifts (7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday) and night shifts (7pm-7am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Highlights:- Work within a comprehensive surgical services department offering a full spectrum of procedures across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular, Urology, and OB
- Participate in both elective and critical life-saving procedures in a progressive surgical environment
- Contract duration through November 14, 2025, with potential for extension
- Structured call schedule with balanced rotation between weeknight and weekend coverage

- Strict attendance policy reflects commitment to patient care excellence
- Active Michigan RN license (verification through LARA and Nursys required)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Completed skills checklist within one year of application
- Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB preferred
- Ability to adhere to strict attendance and punctuality standards
- Cannot have been a full-time employee of the facility within the past six months
