# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery – Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Tomball, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (day and night available); rotating weekends; no on-call required**Highlights:** - 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit with patient ratios following AWHONN standards- EMR system includes Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect- Comprehensive scope of practice including labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, pre-op, and PACU- Standard GE L&D fetal monitoring with wireless monitoring technology (NOVII) and Baxter IV Pumps- Supportive team environment with dedicated charge nurses and surgical techs on each shift- Opportunities to utilize advanced skills including device placement (IUPC, FSE) and newborn transition**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license- Strong independent L&D skills including cervical checks, OR circulator, IV start, and medication management (oxytocin and magnesium)- Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM- Experience with labor management required- Device placement and newborn transition skills preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a well-equipped Labor and Delivery unit where you can practice the full scope of maternal and newborn care.
