# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – GeorgiaStart Date: September 14, 2026Location: GeorgiaCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend (subject to unit needs); 1:5-6 patient ratio on a 32-bed cardiac telemetry unit; holiday requirements apply based on assignment datesHighlights:- Cardiac telemetry unit with IMCU overflow serving adult to geriatric populations- Manage a diverse patient mix including cardiac arrhythmias, CHF, post-cardiac cath, chest pain, DKA, PE/DVT, and select surgical patients- Experience with Epic EMR preferred; unit also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR communication- Must have prior travel experience and demonstrated competency managing continuous IV medications including cardiac drips, anticoagulants, insulin, and diuretics- Floating within facility and scope of practice may be required; minimal call with 2-hour response time- Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all time off must be finalized at submissionRequirements:- Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state)- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers not accepted- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required- HARD STOP: Proven experience managing the following continuous IV medications: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and insulin drips- Strong arrhythmia interpretation and management skills- Proficiency with TR Bands, cardioversion, post-cardiac cath care, and comprehensive med/surg nursing skills- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred- Full compliance required prior to start date to meet orientation scheduleWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This role offers experienced telemetry nurses the chance to expand their clinical expertise in a dynamic cardiac environment with strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy.
