Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation provided; every other or every third weekend required; float coverage required as needed; 1:3.5 nurse-to-patient ratio maintained across all shifts

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
• Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patient management, trauma care, psychiatric holds, and pediatric emergency care
• Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• Proficiency in 12-lead EKG interpretation, phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance
• Two professional references required: one from a manager/director/supervisor and one from a charge nurse or leadership role
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
