Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays.

Highlights:

• Specialized abdominal transplant unit caring for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Physical Therapy
• Float required within the hospital system to support patient care needs across multiple units
• Patient population includes transplant recovery, rejection monitoring, infections, AKI, uncontrolled diabetes, and hepatology cases
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and central line management

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown/IMC) experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry, IV management, central line care, accessing/managing ports, and PICC line management
• Skills in non-invasive airway management, nasal cannula, and IV insulin protocols
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
