Schedule: Weekend day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs. Contract must extend through January 2, 2027. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity.

Highlights:

• Float to multiple specialty ICUs including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
• Work with a diverse patient population including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)
• Epic electronic medical record system
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity based on clinical need
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of application
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Core clinical competencies include arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line management, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, external ventricular drain, and titration of vasoactive drips
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
