Description
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day/Night Rotation. Shifts assigned based on organizational needs with flexibility between days and nights. Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights).

- Progressive Care Unit environment serving adults and geriatric patient populations
- Day/night rotating schedule with flexibility to accommodate facility staffing needs
- 32 hours of orientation provided to support successful transition
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Unit census of 34 patients with 44 total beds available
- Float opportunities within the organization to expand clinical experience
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience in progressive care/stepdown setting
- Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Previous telemetry experience with strong cardiac monitoring skills
- Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and management
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required: one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge nurse acceptable for second reference
- First-time travelers welcome (profiles subject to manager review)
- Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed

Compliance Requirements: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start date. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing. Candidates unresponsive to credentialing requirements risk assignment cancellation.
Parking: Multiple parking options available ranging from $16.35 to $224.80 per month, including garage and surface lot access with shuttle service. Parking costs subject to change.
Eligibility Notes: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility. Current employees not eligible for travel assignments. Local candidates accepted.
