Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Weekend and rotating holiday coverage required. Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts. Float requirements apply to units of equivalent or lower acuity level.

Requirements:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of one year of acute-care medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic charting system required
• IV start skills required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signature

This position has strict compliance requirements with a deadline of the Tuesday prior to start date. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative throughout the credentialing process. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after contract signing—delays may result in start date changes. Former employees must have been separated from the organization for at least six months to be eligible. Current employees are not eligible for travel positions at this location.
