# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week; 3:1 patient ratio; weekend shifts assigned based on unit needs; may float to affiliated locations within walking distance (approximately 5-6 minutes)

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• EPIC charting experience required
• IV start and telemetry skills required
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon contract signing

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line management, central line and PICC line care
• Competency in blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, feeding tube care, heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Familiarity with vasoactive and cardiac drip management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, high flow nasal cannula
• Previous charge experience preferred
