Description
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend required; holiday rotation as assigned; flexibility to float within facility as needed
Highlights:
- 33-bed Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry unit with average daily census of 28 patients
- Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vacs, and bariatric patients
- Epic EMR system required; facility also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and case management
- State-of-the-art equipment including Diligent lift systems, space labs in every room, and dedicated unit resources including charge nurses on each shift and unit secretary support
- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; full compliance required prior to start date
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with 5-6 patient ratios preferred
- Proficiency in skills including blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, IV management, telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, feeding tube management, and pre/post hemodialysis care
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
