Description
Start Date: August 20, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 13-week assignment | Every other weekend requirement
Highlights:
- Critical care unit at a nationally recognized specialty hospital known for transplant excellence and advanced surgical programs
- Exposure to complex critical care including central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside tracheostomies
- Work with advanced technology including CRRT (Prismaflex) and Rotoprone therapy
- Documentation system: Meditech EMR
- Floating to other ICU units as needed based on census
- Professional environment with structured dress code and evidence-based nursing practices
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of critical care nursing experience
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital or travel nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Availability to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling block
- Candidates with Rotoprone, CRRT (Prismaflex), and Meditech experience will be prioritized
