Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Contract lengths from 13 weeks up to February 27, 2027.

• High-volume birthing unit with over 300 births per month and an average of 20 births in 24 hours
• 2:1 patient ratio with comprehensive intrapartum, high-risk antepartum, and postpartum care
• Advanced obstetrical services including scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births, cervical cerclage procedures, and obstetrical triage
• Epic charting system with PYXIS and SBAR protocols
• 24-hour orientation period with scrubs provided
• Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3 years preferred
• Previous experience in high-volume facilities with 300+ births per month is essential
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (or Advanced), and NRP required
• Competency in circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, and immediate newborn care
• Experience with high-risk antepartum patients, triage of obstetrical patients, and infant/neonatal arrest situations
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Must be willing to float to Special Maternity Care high-risk OB unit as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
