Description
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), with every other weekend and some holidays. Flexible 4x12 schedule available if preferred.

- Work in multiple critical care settings including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU, and Progressive Care units
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Academic teaching environment with opportunities for professional growth and engagement in Shared Governance
- 28 hours of orientation provided; patient ratio of 3:1 for both day and night shifts
- Block scheduling likely to accommodate preferred schedules
Requirements:
- Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact State license required
- Minimum 5 years of ICU nursing experience with adult populations
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
- Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start with strict passing criteria
- Competency in multiple ICU specialties including experience with ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, and complex critical care procedures
- Epic charting system experience required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
