# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (PCU) – TexasStart Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Denton, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 4:1 patient ratio (may flex to 5:1 during staffing shortages)Highlights:

• 25-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in stroke patients, cardiac drips, continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure care
• Advanced equipment including BiPAP, AirVO, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative night shift team consisting of 1 charge RN, 6 staff RNs, and 3 PCTs
• Travel RN assignment with comprehensive orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with an experienced, tenured interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Progressive Care or Medical-Surgical experience strongly preferred
• Preceptor experience and charge nurse experience are preferred but not required
