Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour rotations between 1900-0730, with weekend and holiday rotation. Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts.

• Interdisciplinary support from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Social Services
• Serve as emergency responder throughout the hospital as part of a collaborative care team

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU experience mandatory)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Epic charting experience required
• Must pass telemetry examination prior to start date with strict passing criteria
• Inpatient acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty area
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Competency in advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and blood product administration

Patient Population:

Adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure (ARDS, ECMO), post-code care, sepsis, GI bleeds, post-operative management, liver transplant, vascular surgery, and trauma. Daily census of 23 patients in a 24-bed unit.

Additional Information:

Floating to other units may be required as needed. This position requires providers who reside 50 miles or more from the facility. Parking permit or alternative transportation arrangements will be necessary.
