Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas

Start Date: August 12, 2026
Location: Boerne, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule), holiday rotation per unit policy

Highlights:

• Freestanding, full-service 24/7 emergency center with 15 treatment rooms including trauma/cardiac care, fast-track, and observation beds
• Diverse case mix: chest pain, STEMI, stroke, trauma, pediatric emergencies, urgent care, motor vehicle accidents, and more
• 13-week assignment in a state-of-the-art facility with on-site CT, radiology, laboratory, ultrasound, and telemetry services
• Documentation system: Meditech (preferred experience)
• Float requirements as needed per facility policy
• Critical care stabilization with air and ground transport access to advanced trauma services

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke
• Experience with stroke, STEMI, pediatric, and urgent care patient populations
• Meditech experience strongly preferred
