Location: New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts). Weekend requirement includes 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts per month. On-call requirement of 1-2 call nights per week with charge duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Clinical ladder placement available based on years of relevant experience, national nursing certification, and additional education (BSN/MSN)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans within established nursing standards
• Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and necessary interventions
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Document interventions and perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed
• Demonstrate quality clinical practice while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration
