# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Surgical Services – New Mexico**Start Date:** September 14, 2026 **Location:** Santa Fe, New Mexico **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Days - 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 4 rotating 10-hour shifts per week; includes 2 weekend shifts per month (12-hour call shifts) and one night call per week**Highlights:**- Full-time Registered Nurse position in Surgical Services with rotating day schedule- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC- Float within surgical services department as needed- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per month (Saturday/Sunday = 1 weekend)- On-call requirement: One night call per week- Competitive hourly rate with comprehensive support and resources**Requirements:**- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) via AHA Certification required- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) via AHA Certification required- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) via AHA Certification required- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served- Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with staff, physicians, patients, and families**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This Registered Nurse role offers the chance to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic surgical services environment.
