Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neonatal ICU (NICU) – Texas

Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: San Marcos, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Full-Time

Highlights:

• Level 2 Neonatal ICU specialty with opportunity to float to mother/baby unit as needed
• Night shift position providing critical care to newborn patients
• Practice independently in a supportive clinical environment while managing complex care situations
• Utilize nursing expertise in assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Full-time opportunity with dedicated orientation and preceptorship for new hires
• Participate in ongoing competency development and annual verification programs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) – Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor
• Minimum 1 year of neonatal or perinatal nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to administer medications, monitor treatment effectiveness, and manage complex patient needs
