Description
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with every other weekend rotation; no call required
Highlights:
- Provide care for patients with cancer diagnoses, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination
- Work within a collaborative team environment with opportunities to participate in treatment planning
- 13-week contract with competitive compensation package
- No on-call requirements; structured weekend rotation for work-life balance
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Demonstrated competency with step-down patient populations
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current skills checklist pertinent to Medical-Surgical specialty (within the last year)
- Two completed supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
- Prior travel work history highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Must reside outside of 50-mile radius from facility location
