Description
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48-hour guarantee per week; rotating every other weekend (average 6 weekends per 13-week contract); no call required; holiday coverage required as per facility policy
Highlights:
- Float Pool position across Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
- Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS and MS Telemetry
- Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics with diverse diagnoses across multiple specialties
- Epic EMR experience required; familiarity with Pyxis and SBAR communication
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-1:6 MS Telemetry and 1:3-1:4 PCU preferred
- Flexibility to float across multiple Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, central line care, ventilator care, chest tube management, and wound care
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Full compliance documentation must be completed by deadline to ensure timely start
