Schedule: 36 or 48-hour guarantee per week; rotating every other weekend (average 6 weekends per 13-week contract); no call required; holiday coverage required as per facility policy

Highlights:

• Float Pool position across Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS and MS Telemetry
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics with diverse diagnoses across multiple specialties
• Epic EMR experience required; familiarity with Pyxis and SBAR communication
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-1:6 MS Telemetry and 1:3-1:4 PCU preferred
• Flexibility to float across multiple Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, central line care, ventilator care, chest tube management, and wound care
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Full compliance documentation must be completed by deadline to ensure timely start
