Medical Telemetry RN - KansasJob Opportunity – Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Leawood, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred, 3 shifts per week minimum, every third weekend required

• 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit specializing in renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general medical-surgical patients
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1 with dedicated unit technicians and unencumbered charge nurse support
• Meditech Expanse – Behavioral and Clinical Documentation (EBCD) electronic medical record system
• Float opportunities to similar acuity units including Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Observation, and Rehab
• Strong focus on safety, quality metrics, and documentation compliance including HAI prevention protocols
• State-of-the-art equipment including Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication system, bladder scanners, and advanced lift technology

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas (or eligible for compact licensure)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Basic Dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
• Medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Uniform requirement: Royal blue scrub tops with royal blue or black pants
