Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment covering all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac patient populations. Patient ratio 1:3-4. Limited time off requests.

Highlights:

• Float to multiple Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units specializing in cardiac populations
• Comprehensive cardiac case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain patients
• Experience with cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients within the same units
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Manageable patient ratios of 1:3-4

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years progressive care or critical care experience in a similar-sized facility
• Strong cardiac nursing background with experience managing patients on cardiac drips
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
