Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; every other weekend required; flexible scheduling with float requirements; must work at least one winter holiday as needed by the department

Highlights:

• Pediatric-focused respiratory therapy position with ICU patient population
• Work with specialty equipment including Vapotherm, Optiflow, Oscillator, and IPV
• Experience with inhaled nitric oxide, heliox, and advanced ventilator management
• Epic EMR system utilized
• No call requirements
• Nicotine-free facility with required testing

Requirements:

• Active Georgia Respiratory Therapy license (required at time of submission)
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric experience (required)
• ICU experience (required)
• PICU, NICU, and Level I trauma experience (highly preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• NRP certification (preferred)
• Experience with inhaled nitric oxide, heliox, and ventilator management
• Proficiency with continuous albuterol, intermittent MDI, and other nebulized medications
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission
• Flu vaccination required for flu season with no exemptions accepted
