Description
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM start), includes weekend requirements, no block scheduling
Highlights:
- Neuro specialty unit with medical-surgical and step-down patient populations
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Comprehensive case mix including neuro and step-down patients requiring NIHSS assessments
- Manager conducts interviews and extends offers directly
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state license with verification through Nursys
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification - must be current and included in application
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of neuro nursing experience required
- Strong medical-surgical background with step-down unit experience
- EPIC EMR proficiency
- Complete work history with no employment gaps exceeding 60 days
- Current skills checklist and professional references
