Location: Petoskey, Michigan

Schedule: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Possible on-call coverage.

Highlights:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures using advanced analyzers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, and flame photometers
• Blood bank experience required, including blood typing, cross-matching, and compatibility testing
• Engage in quality control troubleshooting and equipment maintenance to ensure accurate patient results
• Maintain laboratory inventory and prepare comprehensive reports of technological findings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide critical test results for patient diagnosis and treatment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) experience required
• ASCP certification required
• Recent blood bank experience required
• Proficiency in microscopic techniques for blood cell analysis and identification
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and laboratory safety protocols
