Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Step-Down / Progressive Care – Michigan

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Bay City, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required. No on-call responsibilities. Standard shift assignments with strict attendance expectations to ensure optimal patient care and staffing continuity.

Highlights:

• Progressive care environment supporting post-surgical patients, cardiac recovery, and complex medical conditions including ventilator-dependent and stroke patients
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and advanced equipment to track vital signs and critical patient metrics
• Cerner electronic medical record system in use
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team approach with physicians, therapists, and specialists
• Manage complex medication administration including IV therapies and titration of drips
• Facility maintains rigorous attendance standards to support patient population and staffing needs

Requirements:

• Current Michigan RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Step-Down/Progressive Care RN experience (required)
• Telemetry monitoring experience (required)
• Cerner EMR experience (required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
