# Job Opportunity – Pre/Post Operative Nurse – Georgia**Start Date:** October 12, 2026 **Location:** Georgia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with on-call requirements; every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff

Highlights:

• Pre-operative and post-operative nursing in a 14-bed Same Day Surgery unit
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1 in post-op and 1-2:1 in pre-op based on patient acuity
• EMR system: Meditech for documentation
• Standard procedures include IV starts, basic IV infusions, foley insertion, and EKG administration
• Equipment includes bladder scanner, vein finder, and EKG machine
• Supportive environment with 1 full-time PCT and friendly, positive team culture

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of pre-operative and post-operative nursing experience required
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Pediatric and neuro post-operative competency training will be completed at facility
• Willingness to float within Surgical Services as needed per facility policy
• Familiarity with AIDET patient experience framework
