Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 18, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 38 or 48 hours per week, 8 or 13-week assignment. Holiday coverage is required as part of the assignment.

Highlights:

• Staff a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit located near the Emergency Department
• Dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing patient acuity levels
• Case mix includes medical beds, trauma overflow, and patients ranging from lower to higher acuity, including mid holds
• May be required to float to other units within your area of competency
• Opportunity to work in a high-volume, acute care setting with diverse patient populations

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical or Observation Unit experience in an acute care setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Complete demographic information and badge-appropriate photo required for credentialing
