Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, variable schedule. Holiday requirements include 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

  • Specializing in high-acuity maternal care including pregnancy complications, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
  • Opportunities to support mothers and families during critical moments of care
  • Collaborative Labor & Delivery team environment focused on quality outcomes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required
  • 13-week assignment with potential for extension
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Current AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification
  • Experience managing high-risk obstetric conditions including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
