Description
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts). On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week from end of shift until 10:00 PM. No weekend requirement. Blocked scheduling accommodated.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association required
- ACLS Certification from American Heart Association required
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to pre-operative patient population
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity to patient rights
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established nursing standards
- Systematically re-assess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical data and patient outcomes
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
- Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient response and outcomes
