Job Opportunity – Postpartum Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed. Float requirements may apply to different units within the organization as needed.

• Specialized postpartum care including telemetry monitoring, continuous pulse oximetry, and magnesium therapy management
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for optimal patient care delivery
• Epic electronic medical records system utilized facility-wide

• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Travel assignment with local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership role; Charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Charge experience preferred

Patient Population:

• Antepartum patients requiring specialized monitoring
• Postpartum patients with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry
• Postpartum patients receiving magnesium therapy
• Postpartum intrauterine fetal demise (IUFD) care
• Patient age groups: infants and adults
