Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Straight nights. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Nurse-to-patient ratios typically 1:5-6 on nights. May float to similar Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility.

• Acute care setting at a Level 1 Trauma facility
• EPIC charting system utilized
• Collaborative inter-professional care environment with physicians and care team members
• Opportunities to care for patients across the continuum of care, including complex cases
• Professional development within the full scope of nursing practice
• Cancellation policy: Up to 12 hours may be canceled every 13 weeks

• Active RN license in South Dakota or willingness to obtain licensure
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to perform age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions
• Must badge in and out at facility and adhere to dress code (navy blue scrubs)

This position offers the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma center where you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry specialties. You'll utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care while working in a supportive environment that values professional nursing practice standards and promotes both patient safety and clinical excellence.
