Description
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Alabama
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call coverage includes approximately one week every four weeks for neuro lab, plus backup call coverage of 2 to 4 additional days per month (total call commitment approximately 9 to 11 days per month). Must be able to report within 30 minutes of notification.
Highlights:
- Support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures in single- and biplane environments
- Perform technical assistance with adult diagnostic angiography, minimally invasive guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies
- Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist across multiple procedural suites
- Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
- 13-week travel assignment at a major healthcare facility
- New travelers are welcome with appropriate experience
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program recognized by the American Medical Association Council on Education, or credentialed through Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- ARRT (VI) certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Active Alabama license required at time of submission
- Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases
- Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
