Description
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts with call rotation (approximately 10 days or less per month, roughly 2 days per week or less). Call includes evening and weekend rotation. Flexibility required to complete cases started late in the day.
Highlights:
- Level II Trauma Center with diverse interventional radiology case mix including fluoroscopy, CT-guided procedures, and ultrasound-guided interventions
- Two fluoroscopy rooms, two minimally invasive suites, and CT utilization for comprehensive procedural variety
- EPIC EMR with Sectra PACS system
- Work both independently on smaller interventional cases and collaboratively in two-person teams for complex angiography procedures
- Comprehensive training and orientation program covering EMR, equipment, and departmental protocols
- Scrubs provided by facility (Ceil Blue)
Requirements:
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- North Dakota Medical Imaging Registration and Therapy (NDMIRT) required (allow 4 weeks for processing)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required
- EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
- Must reside more than 80 miles from facility location
- Background check required
- Must badge in and out at facility
Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists during interventional procedures by scrubbing in and coordinating room activities during cases
- Schedule and code procedures accurately
- Complete post-procedure film processing with appropriate charting, billing, and supply documentation
- Operate specialized equipment including Toshiba IR machines and Siemens ultrasound units
- Float to other departments such as CT Scan to assist with procedures as needed
