# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical – TexasStart Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 13-week contractHighlights:

14-bed Medical/Surgical unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Night shift staffing includes 3 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, and 1 Charge Nurse float
EMR system: Meditech; equipment includes Alaris pumps
Procedures include bronchoscopy, EGD, and colonoscopy support
Collaborative team environment with experienced, tenured staff
Opportunity for permanent placement available

Requirements:

Active RN license in good standing
BLS certification (required)
NIHSS certification (required)
ACLS certification (preferred)
Rhythm interpretation skills (preferred)
Medical/Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
