# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical) – Texas**Start Date:** September 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); 36 guaranteed hours per week; every other weekend; no call required

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Proficiency in Meditech charting system
• Strong skills in IV peripheral start and care, central line care
• Experience with tubes and drains including NG, JP, chest tubes, and ostomy care
• Competency in Foley catheter insertion and maintenance
• Preferred skills: tracheostomy care, wound vacs, large dressing changes, 3-way bladder irrigation
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
