Description
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Float pool position with flexible scheduling; every other weekend required; no call required; no block schedule requests accepted due to float pool staffing needs
Highlights:
- Float throughout the hospital including Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU units
- Patient ratios up to 1:6 in Med-Surg depending on unit assignment
- Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
- ICU experience required; unit accepts first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of experience
- Holiday requirement: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period per facility policy
- Maximum 7 days requested time off (RTO) per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- ICU experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac drips, and titrating vasoactive drips
- Full compliance documentation required to start on time; incomplete compliance may result in 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
