Start Date: November 12, 2026 (Orientation held every other Thursday)

Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekdays with every other weekend required. Float to Emergency Department as needed. Choice of 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (overtime after 48 hours for 4x12 schedule).

• Cerner charting system with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Patient population includes observation patients with chest pain rule-out, TIA, chronic anemia, CHF/COPD exacerbations
• No call requirements; free parking for travelers
• CPI certification available through facility resources

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission, but active license required before start)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; 1 year minimum in-specialty experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all through American Heart Association), and CPI (must be obtained at least 1 week before start)
• Cerner charting experience required
• MS/Telemetry, Telemetry, and ER Holding experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV therapy including accessing ports, blood product administration, peripheral line management, and IV starts
• Experience with heparin protocols and managing cardiac drips (no titration)
• Knowledge of neurological/psychiatric conditions including CVA, seizure disorders, and substance withdrawal
• Respiratory care experience including CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Care of ventilated patients and tracheostomy management preferred
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address at least 75 miles from facility location
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only during flu season October 1 - March 31)
